Help to book, organize, deliver, and evaluate 100 educational onsite programs for students in grades K-12 related to Florida land, air, soil, and water using Florida 4-H Environmental Education curriculum.

Help to book, organize, deliver, and evaluate 100 outreach visits to schools, organizations and agencies to teach Florida 4-H Environmental Education curriculum.

Benefits 

Biweekly living stipends in the amount of $980
Segal AmeriCorps Education Award  for completion of full term of service.
AmeriCorps member housing maybe available on-site
Loan deferment and interest forbearance on qualified student loans, while in service:  https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/repay-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/public-service
You may also be eligible to receive a childcare benefit if you have children under the age of 13
Health insurance is available for FULL TIME members

About UF/IFAS 4-H Camp Timpoochee

Camp Timpoochee is nestled on the shore of the Choctawhatchee Bay in Okaloosa County. Its private facilities, open spaces, waterfront view, and beautiful sunsets allow campers, students, and guests to play, learn, and work in a safe and relaxing environment. During a stay at Camp Timpoochee, you will experience memorable camp activities in a beautiful environment that will bring you back year after year. Camp Timpoochee provides modern conveniences, within the traditional camp setting, to combine a relaxed camp atmosphere with today’s camping needs. Our mission statement is to develop life skills in youth through experiential education in the camp environment. 4-H Camp Timpoochee provides day and residential summer camp programs, rents facilities out to any group interested in using its facilities and teaches environmental education and marine science classes on and off-site.
