This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in diagnosing problems quickly, making lasting repairs, and keeping the shop \u2014 and the farm \u2014 running smoothly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Be Responsible For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose, repair, and\u00a0maintain\u00a0all equipment including tractors, heavy equipment, forklifts, harvesters, semis, and trailers<\/li>\n<li>Perform routine preventative maintenance on all equipment<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular inspections to\u00a0identify\u00a0potential issues or necessary repairs<\/li>\n<li>Utilize diagnostic laptop and other technology to pinpoint mechanical issues<\/li>\n<li>Provide on-site repair and maintenance services as needed<\/li>\n<li>Build hydraulic hoses<\/li>\n<li>Use a torch and weld to make necessary repairs<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate Tater Farms&#8217; core values of respect, integrity, and dependability in all work activities and interactions with staff and leadership<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Expect\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems<\/li>\n<li>Dependability and sound judgment when prioritizing repairs across multiple pieces of equipment<\/li>\n<li>A safety-first mindset and consistent use of required PPE<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to Tater Farms&#8217; core values of respect, integrity, and dependability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a valid Driver&#8217;s License<\/li>\n<li>Must have 5 years of\u00a0previous\u00a0heavy equipment mechanic experience<\/li>\n<li>3 years of farm specific experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Experience with John Deere and Diesel Laptop diagnostic systems a plus<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated commitment to Tater Farms&#8217; core values of respect, integrity, and dependability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environmen<\/strong>t<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to lift and maneuver heavy tools and vehicle parts<\/li>\n<li>Upper body strength is essential for using hoists, jacks, and hand tools like wrenches and hammers<\/li>\n<li>Long hours of standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks<\/li>\n<li>Endurance to complete multi-hour repairs without fatigue<\/li>\n<li>Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, and reaching into tight spaces<\/li>\n<li>Good range of motion in limbs to access hard-to-reach areas<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work effectively in a non-climate-controlled shop<\/li>\n<li>Must adhere to eye protection required policy<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to shift from job to job if priorities require<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work alone or with a team member as needs require<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive pay based on experience<\/li>\n<li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance<\/li>\n<li>401(k) with company match<\/li>\n<li>Paid time off through\u00a0accrued\u00a0vacation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Tater Farms?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll\u00a0be part of a team that values\u00a0hard work, supports one another, and takes pride in delivering quality results.
