Hardee Fresh is an indoor organic vegetable production facility located in an approximately 50,000 sq. Ft. building on a 9-acre parcel of land in Hardee County, Florida. The company’s product offering includes a wide range of leafy green vegetables and microgreens. Role and Responsibilities

Crew Members will be assigned to either the harvesting crew or the planting crew for normal shifts. Crew members will be responsible for tasks such as sowing seeds, transplanting, moving plants, harvesting finished product, packing finished product, cleaning and sanitizing, and other tasks as assigned by the Operations Supervisor or Crew Lead. Crew Members would be expected to work (1) 8-hour shift per day Monday-Friday with occasional work required outside of normal working hours as needed to meet demand and weekly goals. The Crew Member could also be responsible for other duties as assigned by management. Part time Crew Members would work on an as-needed or on-call basis, and could be on either the morning crew or afternoon. As full time positions are vacated, part time employees would be offered those full time positions so long as they are in good standing with the company. There is no guarantee of number of hours per week by the company and likewise there is no guarantee from the employee that they must work on every occasion they are called.

Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available.

Effective time-management and ability to multi-task

Effective communication skills

Ability to learn and absorb new technologies

MUST have reliable transportation

Greenhouse or agriculture experience a plus

Attendance is a MUST

 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
