Florida Farm Bureau Federation is currently seeking a Digital Media Coordinator to play a crucial role in the success of the Federation’s public relations efforts through production design, branding, content, materials, and events. The Digital Media Coordinator must be a lifelong learner, constantly abreast of new public relations technologies and trends.

The listed pay range is the starting salary for the position.

As part of the Public Relations team, the Digital Media Coordinator will develop and create content, ensure proper and consistent branding across all platforms, materials, and productions, and maintain a current and archived digital library.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure a unified brand is implemented across all digital platforms and collateral.
  • Develop content, record, edit, publish, and disseminate monthly podcast, Rural Recharge.
  • Coordinate the production of video and/or graphic design requests:
  • Schedule meetings with internal and external staff and/our County Farm Bureau to determine video or graphic needs.
  • Establish a timeline for completion.
  • Determine which videos and/or graphics can be done internally and which to assign to an external vendor.
  • Create video and/or graphics, as assigned internally.
  • Track podcast and video metrics monthly.
  • Chair internal staff committee to develop annual themes for the organization.
  • Serve as photographer/videographer at Farm Bureau events.
  • Maintain online digital photo library of Farm Bureau events and archive of digital assets.
  • Maintain online video library of Farm Bureau video platforms, including YouTube and Vimeo channel management.
  • Conduct workshops, as needed, for County Farm Bureaus (i.e. branding, basic photography, basic videography, etc.)
  • Manage Public Relations equipment/display inventory.
  • Represent the Public Relations division at events.

Secondary duties include:

  • Assist in event planning, as needed.
  • Provide research assistance on assigned topics.
  • Assist in proofreading items for the division.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, public relations, media production, or related discipline;
  • OR Equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products; Premier Pro, Audition, Lightroom, or Photoshop; and InDesign.
  • Self-motivation
  • Proven ability to develop creative content.
  • Excellent computer skills and mastery of desktop publishing software.
  • Ability to perform within a dynamic professional environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs for general layout and design.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to use WordPress and Squarespace
  • Familiarity with AP style writing/editing.
  • Ability to write clear and concise content.
  • Superior people skills and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of emerging media.
  • Willingness to build upon existing skills and develop new ones within the position.

Travel

  • Must be able to travel within the state or elsewhere.

Language Skills

  • Must be able to read an interpret documents.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in writing newsletters, articles, and press releases.
  • Must be able to make presentations before both professional and non-professional audiences.

Pay: $49,737.00 – $62,154.00 per year
