The Education Curriculum Manager collaborates closely with the Director to accomplish the goals of Agriculture Education Services and Technology, Inc. (“AEST”) and other agriculture education initiatives. This position will assist with all activities to support certifications including developing curriculum, training materials, and securing outside reference materials.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage content for existing certification programs and assist in the development of new certification offerings.
  • Write and edit curriculum resources and materials, engaging subject matter experts, research, and best practices as needed.
  • Update current certification materials including study guides.
  • Identify and vet potential external references including textbooks and digital products.
  • Establish a content review process and calendar.
  • Coordinate work and evaluate products from independent consultants.
  • Proctor certification exams to various audiences, as needed.
  • Promote and market certifications to various audiences.
  • Participate in educational conferences and meetings to stay abreast of legislative changes affecting CTE.
  • Establish effective partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Plan LINC conference for Teachers and Industry partners.
  • Identify e-learning opportunities and develop content for online courses.
  • Assist with the daily operations of AEST and the testing platform, including, but not limited to, user account maintenance, technical support, and fielding program questions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Five or more years of related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Agricultural education background preferred.
  • Florida Teaching Certificate is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Excellent teamwork, presentation, facilitation, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer, reasoning, and language skills.
